From Samsung, we present to you before the Spinpoint M8 hard drive, which is designed specifically for notebooks and netbooks. The new disk will appear in a slim 9.5 mm size and is equipped with 1TB disk space that will combine two 500GB platters.

The high storage capacity created by the AFT (Advanced Format Technology) and also the power consumption was reduced during operation. The Samsung Spinpoint M8 hard drive offers a 3Gbps SATA to interface, 8MB of buffer and EcoSeek and NoiseGuard technologies.

The mass production of the new hard drive is under way and the price is about 129 €.
